David Farren: Le Paysage

Opening Reception: Saturday, November 16th, 2019, 12:00pm- 3:00pm 

The artist will be in attendance. 

David Farren’s latest work is inspired by the rich foliage of his home in the Perigord region of France. Painting professionally since 2000, David has a reputation as being a contemporary impressionist. He uses open brushwork and hand-mixed colour to represent the dynamism of the landscape. This latest work depicts the first rays of light that illuminate the countryside and reflect off of the surface of rivers and streams.

Mariusz Kaldowski was born in 1962 in Poland. In 1987 he graduated with an MA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He is a painter, a printmaker and a graphic designer. Currently he shares his time between his homes in Westcliff-on-Sea and Orneta in Poland.

Since coming to the UK in 1996 he has been busy creating and exhibiting his work. Between 2002 – 2014 he has been Artist in Residence in Regent’s Park and since 2009 he has been working with the National Trust as their resident artist for the South East region.
